The University Library in the Jean and Charles Schulz Information Center provides a variety of computing resources to Sonoma State students, faculty, and staff.
The Library has 145 workstations (Macs and PCs) with internet access and a variety of software. Library computers require all current students, faculty, and staff to log in using their Seawolf IDs. If you don't have a Seawolf ID, temporary guest passes are available at the Information/Check-Out Desk for current extended education students, emeritus faculty, Technology High School students, and current CSU students and faculty.
Wireless access is available in all public areas of the University Library for SSU students and employees. Access the wireless network using your Seawolf ID and password.
Watch a DVD
Watch a DVD on the PCs in the Library. Headphones are available to check out from the Information/Check-Out Desk on the 2nd floor.
The Library has two workstations equipped with assistive technology. Each workstation has speech recognition software, text-to-speech software, screen readers and magnification, adjustable-height tables, and large monitors. You can find out more about our accessible technology and other services for people with disabilities on our Information for People with Disabilities page.
During our closure, the Sonoma State University Library will make our pool of lending laptops available to students for extended loan to support distance learning.
Quick Search Stations
Quick Search stations are available to anyone who wishes to search the catalog or access e-journals and databases. These stations are located throughout the building.
